The Computer Science Capstone Program is open to all students majoring in
Computer Science. It is required that all Computer Science & Business and Computer Science &
Engineering
students to complete their capstone before graduating.
All projects are presented during class, and you will select your preferences
within the first week. You'll complete a Google form listing your favorite projects,
and a Capstone group and project will be assigned based on your preferences.
Fall Semester
Complete CSE 216
Register for Capstone
January
Attend presentation of all Capstone Projects
and fill out form of choices.
Organize time each week to meet
with Sponsor and Adjunct Professor.
Begin working on Project!
February-April
Work with teammates to set goals and meet
requirements for your project.
Continue meeting with adjunct professor and sponsor.
Mid-semester presentation to fellow capstone students.
May
End of semester presentation of current progress
and goals. Sponsors, Adjunct, and others may attend.
August
Organize new meeting time to meet with sponsor.
Begin working on second half of Capstone Project.
September-November
Continue working on project and
preparing for presentations.
